Terms, plainly
A fan-made project, run on donations and open-source code. Here is how it works.
Who we are
Isekai to Midgard is a free, fan-made, non-commercial project: a classic-style MMORPG you play in VR in your headset's browser. It is built on open-source software and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any game publisher. Nothing on this site is official.
Donations
- Donations are voluntary gifts that keep the workshop and, later, the server running. Every cost and every coin is shown on the front page, month by month.
- A donation buys nothing: no item, no advantage, no rank, no early access and no promised date. Anything cosmetic we ever give as thanks can also be earned in the game.
- A wish you leave with a donation goes into the Wishing Well. We read every one and list it. A wish is not a promise: the team and the game's rules decide what gets built, and when.
- Donations are handled by a payment platform (Ko-fi, paid through PayPal) under its own terms. We never see your card details.
Donations are final
- A donation is a gift, not a purchase, so it is not refunded. Please give only what you can spare.
- If the project ever closes, we say so here first, stop taking donations the same day, and keep every character saved.
- A charge you don't recognise? Write to hello@isekaitomidgard.com with the date and the name on the donation.
The waitlist
Signing the book means we may email you when a Waystone lights up and when the door opens. You can leave at any time. What we keep and why: Privacy.
Age
You must be 13 or older to sign the book, donate or play.
Changes
If these terms change, the date below changes too, and the front page says so for a month.
